Nescau Easter Egg Recipe

Nescau Easter Egg Recipe

At Easter 2020, Nestlé introduced the new Nescau Easter egg, the best-selling powdered chocolate in Brazil. If you've kept an eye on this news, continue here at TudoReceitas to find out how to make Nescau's truffled Easter egg at your house!

This Easter egg recipe from Nescau is even better than the original because the filling is creamy brigadeiro de Nescau, just perfect to eat with a spoon and delight all your customers, family and friends this Easter. Check out below how to make homemade Nescau Easter egg and delight everyone this Easter while saving on sweets!

Ingredients for making Nescau Easter Egg:

For the egg shell:

500 grams of chocolate bars for fractional coverage

 1 500g egg form

To the Brigadier of Nescau:

 1 can of condensed milk (395 g)

 ½ box of cream (100 g)

2 tablespoons of Nescau chocolate powder

1 tablespoon of margarine or butter

 chocolate confections (optional)

How to Make a Nescau Easter Egg:

Prepare the brigadeiro first, as it needs to cool down. To do this, place the condensed milk and the Nescau in a pan and cook it, stirring constantly, until it thickens.

When it gets consistent, as in the photo, turn off the heat and add the cream and margarine or butter. Mix until well combined and transfer this brigadeiro de Nescau to a bowl. Set aside until cool to room temperature.

Then prepare the chocolate egg shell: chop the chocolate into small pieces and melt in a bain-marie — see how to do it. If you prefer, you can melt in the microwave at full power for 60 seconds, removing halfway through the time to stir.

Tip: Place the chocolate in a container that tolerates the high temperature of the microwave or bain-marie. In the case of microwave use resistant plastic or tempered glass, in the case of bain marie use tempered glass or stainless steel.

With the help of a brush or spoon, pass a thin layer of chocolate in the shape of an Easter egg. Store in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, then remove and coat with another layer of chocolate. Take it to freeze again.

Tip: When using fractionated chocolate coating there is no need to heat shock it, as it stays firm without melting easily after going in the fridge.

When the chocolate cone is set, fill it with the brigadeiro (which should be at room temperature, not hot). Sprinkle chocolate confectionery or cover with a layer of chocolate icing.

Cool it again, this time for 30 minutes in the freezer or 1 hour in the refrigerator. After this Easter egg with powdered chocolate sets, it remains to unmold, wrap and present. Bon appetit and happy Easter!
